Having something in common is the best way to connect with others. And to Heather Alexander, there’s no better way to unite people than with Disney. Whether they’re five years old and cannot wait to meet Mickey, or they are grandparents soaking up the joy on their family's faces as they parade through the park, there’s literally something for everyone! In fact, some of Heather’s favorite trips to plan are those involving several generations of families, where she is excited for them to take all the pictures and make many precious memories with their grandparents and great-grandparents! Heather grew up taking family vacations as a kid and believes in the importance of spending those 18 summers with your kids (she has two adult-aged kids, so she knows!). Heather didn’t waste those years. She is able to cherish all the memories of the many trips she planned to Disneyland when her kids were little, and the many laughs they shared as they grew up before her eyes in the parks. But don’t think that having grown kids stops Heather from looking forward to the next thing! In fact, she turns to Walt Disney for inspiration: “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” Heather is always looking towards the future—like planning your next vacation!

• Has an associate degree in psychology from Navarro College and a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and special education from Southwest Texas State

• Was an All-American athlete her freshman year in doubles (tennis) while at Navarro College

• Has been a teacher for over 25 years

• Has two dogs named Daisy (after Daisy Duck) and Oreo
