From the moment you meet Kim Smith, you realize that your world just got a whole lot brighter. Her joyful, kind hearted, and child-like spirit are just infectious. If you ask her about Disney, you’re going to need some sunglasses because she will radiate with pure happiness. In her own words, Kim says: “Disney is magic. It’s wonder and awe. It’s family. It’s the sparkle in your kid’s eyes. It’s laughter, it’s joy. It’s a place of escape from the trials of life. It’s where you can enjoy and savor each other.” She cannot talk highly enough about it and truly believes that Disney vacations are hallmarks in our lives. For instance, one of her favorite memories is when she took her three year old twin boys to Disneyland for the first time. As they turned a corner, they literally bumped into Peter Pan (the boys’ favorite character at the time) with their stroller and her little family just stood there gaping at him in disbelief. But Peter Pan didn’t miss a beat. He scooped the boys out of the stroller, asked Tinker Bell to sprinkle pixie dust on them, and taught her boys how to fly—what could be more magical than that? When she was preparing for her next family trip to Disney, she discovered the best job in the world: being a travel advisor! To her, there’s nothing better than meeting new people, spreading the joy and magic, and making it not so overwhelming for families to travel.
