Asking Patrice Thomas about her life is like a box of chocolates: you never know what exciting thing you’re going to find out. She has such a humble and nonchalant way about her that when Patrice tells you something like “she went backpacking around the world for a year after she graduated early,” she doesn’t skip a beat and continues on as if she just told you she had cereal for breakfast. Or the fact that she met her husband in Mexico while working for a clinic that helps kids with cleft lip and palate—a clinic she had volunteered at since she was thirteen. Or that she first heard about being a travel advisor when she responded to a newspaper clipping ad that simply said “Travel Agent” for Dillard’s department store. She has all these little stories and experiences that make her so fascinating and knowledgeable (like growing up going to birthday parties at Disneyland). And with that knowledge, Patrice has the ability to allow clients (and even her family) to have the best experiences. Whether that’s exploring Southeast Asia or enjoying the fireworks at Walt Disney World, Patrice wants you to have the most unforgettable memories—because, as she would say, why be boring?

• Has a degree in international politics from the University of California, Davis

• Her parents met while traveling through Germany. Her dad is Australian and emigrated to the US and married her mom (instilling a love of travel and culture)

• Worked at Disneyland, auditioned and sang at the Candlelight Processional (on the tree)

• Currently lives in Washington state
